What kind of equipment do I need for Virtual Training or Classes?

It depends on the class and what your training goals are, but we can do a lot with minimal equipment.

For Virtual Strength HIIT, all you need is a mat and one dumbbell (10lb or more). If you have a few sizes of dumbbells to choose from, that’s helpful but not necessary.

The only equipment needed for Virtual Core Fit is a mat.

For Personal Training we will talk through what you have and what would be best to purchase if needed.

I haven’t worked out in awhile. Am I ready to jump into Personal Training or a class?

Maybe I should get in shape first. I’ve heard this a lot over the years and let me assure you that I am ready to work with you right where you are at. Together we will create a plan that feels manageable for you and will get you on the right path working toward your goals. You have a much higher rate of success when you don’t do it alone. I would love to partner with you on your health journey. Contact me to set up a complimentary consultation to talk through your options and find your next best step.

Is the only option for Training and classes to meet virtually?

While the majority of Moore Fit’s Training and classes are done virtually, there are options for meeting in person. Contact me to talk through In Home Training plans and pricing where I will travel to you.

During our warmer months Strength HIIT classes do meet in person outdoors. These are very popular and a great way to engage more in community! Join our email list to look for updates on when these are offered.

Should I do Classes or Training? Which is going to be better for me?

This varies from person to person, but the short answer is both! One isn’t necessarily better than the other. You may find you prefer one over the other or you may find you like both. A lot of Moore Fit clients do a combination of training and classes each week. The best way to figure out what will work for you is to contact me for a complimentary consultation to talk it through.

Here is a quick breakdown of the pros of each:

Personal/Buddy Training:

  • Customized exactly to your needs and goals

  • Schedule whenever works for you

  • Individualized attention throughout entire session

  • Great for those new to strength training so you can slow down and learn proper form

Small Group Training Classes:

  • Community

  • Lower price point

  • Energetic, encouraging atmosphere

  • Modifications and Individualized attention still given but not solely focused on you

What is your Cancellation Policy?

For Personal Training and Buddy Training sessions there is a 24 hour cancellation policy which is industry standard. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please email me. If it is less than 24 hours, you will be charged for the session.

For Small Group Training there is a day-of cancellation policy. If you can’t make it to class, please email me. If it is the day of the class, you will be charged for the class.

These policies help keep you accountable to your workouts and help me plan my schedule. Thank you for understanding.
